Mid air at Malta Aero Gran Prix

A very sad day, swedish pilot Gabor Varga was killed when 2 planes collided in mid air at Malta today. My thoughts go to his family. RIP

Re: Mid air at Malta Aero Gran Prix

Which plane was Gabor flying the plane with the tail torn off or the other one?
Thoughts and prayers go out to his family also.
Rest in Peace Gabor.

Re: Mid air at Malta Aero Gran Prix

He was flying the first plane, he was hit from behind when the other plane lost alltitude. This caused his plane to be cut in 2, and went down into the sea. The irish pilot ejected from his plane and survived.

A truly sad day, have seen Gabor flying a couple of times.
