T33 crash.

I have just had the news the the T33 has crashed at Duxford. However when the rescue and fire brigade arrived the Pilot and passenger were sitting near the aircraft and it would appear uninjured. Evidently the nose of the aircraft broke off and the 2 chaps escaped the conflagration that followed. First reports indicate an engine failure on take off. Sad loss of a great aircraft but thank god the crew is safe.

I often lament that we do not have a page 3 in the U.S. How much better would the world be if the Wall Street Journal followed that trend...

Thanks Jim. I saw the T33 fly at Kemble in the Century of Flight show. I can still see her taking off in my minds eye.

Re: T33 crash. Links to The Sun

I went to the story and got The Sun. Of course I wanted to find out more about the crash, but I ended up receving 16 infections on my computer from Spyware.

Be careful out there. All is not what it appears. If you read the story, as I did, you have more than you baragined for. Get it? Clap???? I've been infected....

Re: T33 crash.

That is a shame, but great news that the crew made it out O.K.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
