My collection as of October..

I snapped a few pics of my display as it stands now, with some changes in store pretty soon since the hanger is getting pretty full.. The cabinet is in a "cubby hole" in the hallway, so it is hard to get decent pics (not that my photography skills are that great anyway), but enjoy.. Comments are welcome..

Here is a corner display in my bedroom:

Very nice Harry, looks like you've been streamlining the collection (thanks to all those sales on the forum )...how many birds do you have now? I'm kind of trying to downsize and focus my collection right now...are you still collecting any armor?

I still have a couple of hundred planes/armor pieces, but armor is pretty much dead for me.. Too many reissues and not enough new stuff (anyone need some Jagdtigers??)

Yes, both Zeros are Dragon pieces and two of my favorites of the group..

Re: My collection as of October..

Great collection, How many do you still have in Boxes? Half, quarter?
I didn't count but if you have a couple hunded planes and tanks, there must one of those storage rental planes with your name on it.
I have about 150 planes, (all displayed) and I have an entire store room just for the boxes.

Re: My collection as of October..

Looks great HW - you've done well with the space management in your main cabinet, something I need to work on.

Is that Yak an Easymodel bird? Like that scheme - wish IXO had done a livery like that.

He quits the armor stuff right after he convinces us to carry it. Thanks Harry!

Re: My collection as of October..

Holy sweet Jesus Hworth. That is some collection.

Is the Me-110 an IXO? How does that hold up? Does it actually have a gear-up option? Or is the wheel well covering part of the mould? Thanks

Re: My collection as of October..

Very nice collection, and imagine, that is after your sales! I'm proud to say that I have a few models around that use to reside on those hallowed shelves! I did not, however, see any WW I aircraft. I do believe you have WW I also, do you not?
