The 22nd annual Wings Over Houston Airshow will be held on Oct. 21&22. I am the coordinator for the Heroes & Legends autograph tent and have invited some interesting veterans to meet and get autographs.

Re: Wings Over Houston

Man, I would love to get some of those autographs. I wish that there were more aviation things that happened here in Pittsburgh. There is very little. We don't really have any air major museums here. The CAF wing has an L-5 at the local airport. At nearby Beaver County Airport there is the Air Heritage museum, but David Tallichet has his hand in it, and most of his stuff is in rough shape. THey have an A-20, C-123, and a P-39 that they are rebuilding.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Yes, Tex will be there. I just spoke to him the other day. Next week he will be in Fla. for the 75th Fighter Sqdn. reunion.

Re: Wings Over Houston

Thats cool i'll have to be there...
One of my co-workers just told me he thought the Tuskegee pilots were to be there also but didn't know which ones.
I met two of them over the weekend at the Redding Airshow.
My father went back in 1999 0r 2000 and when he came back he got a "Wings over Houston"P-51D mustang 1/45 scale diecast signed by the pilot too.
Pretty cool.

They have not confirmed with me which members are to attend. When I find out I'll post at our webite and here, I should know next week. Hope you are able to attend.
