Fairfield County Airshow

This coming August 16 and 17, there is a cool Airshow at the Fairfield County Airport, Lancaster, Ohio. It's one of those smaller, more intimate airshows, yet have quite a few aircraft. I've always much enjoyed myself there. Here is the link: Historical Aircraft Squadron, Lancaster, Ohio

Re: Fairfield County Airshow

No interest? Too bad, it's a good show. I'll be there either tomorrow or Sunday.

Re: Fairfield County Airshow

Unfortunately, 11SQNLDR, I have never figured out how to post pics. It was, however, a great show! I paid good money to take an "extreme" ride in a Pitt (or is it Pitts) biplane. 20 foot wingspan, 220 HP engine. WHAT A RIDE! Ryan, the pilot, states we hit a little over 5 g's. I don't know what all we did, but we were upside down, thrown side to side, and I don't know what all! I have to admit, it left me feeling slightly queasy. What a thrill, though. First time I've ever been really pushed back in my seat on take-off with a prop plane!
