I went both Sat. and Sun. and I thought that Saturday's show was great. Saturday was overcast and was a little slow but sure was worth the trip.Sunday was a total wash out with a few departures at the very end of the day.

I got there in the early afternoon so I missed a good amount of the show. Waiting for the wife to make up her mind if she was coming along or not. When I arrived the Canadian Harvard's were flying so I'm not sure what I missed. Did they have the P-40's that showed up fly together if so that would have been great to see.

Great stuff kabelace, thanks for posting those pics! The diffused light and grass strip make for some nice photographic conditions - no wonder the WIXers and FC'ers like it so much.

I thought I posted these ones also, but here is some shots of the Heritage flight with the P-40 and F-16. The poor P-40 sounded like it had its engine cranked right up to stay in position with the F-16

Dear Kabelace,
Many thanks for posting those amazing photos.
A P40 puffing along trying to keep up with the F16 is a brilliant shot, I love that one.

You know I think that the P40 is the bees knees but even I must bow to the F16s superiority.

(mind you, I bet in a turning dogfight the P40 could give the F16 a hard time , well how on earth would the F16 ever get the P40 in its sights)!

Great phots buddy , I am sorry that the weather was so bad, its a problem we have all the time here in the UK.
