Nice, but where are all the Mustangs -- it's mostly jets

Re: Gathering Of Mustangs - slideshow with audio

The jets are the really loud plain ones, right?

Now, if they could only put an Allison engine in them then...

It was a neat slide show.

Thanks

Re: Gathering Of Mustangs - slideshow with audio

That would be my one and only complaint about the airshow. I did enjoy seeing the F-22, but all of those d**n jets flying over (quite often) during their flying times there drove me nuts. Couldn't hear yourself think, let alone anyone else! I'd have preferred it being an all WW II show. While listening the the stories of the veterans, they would have to consistently pause while jets flew over. Very aggravating

Re: Gathering Of Mustangs - slideshow with audio

As much as I love jets, have to agree with Cappy on this. Would have prefered the show limited more to all things Merlin and Allison. Even more annoying were the 4 biplanes doing seemingly endless passes overhead- louder than the jets at times.

However, slick slide show. Thanks for posting, no4mkit.
