O.K., gang, here is a sampling of photos. I'm not an ace photog so this is the best I could do, but it should give you an idea. I started out with the idea of taking photos of every Mustang but gave up on that idea after about 2 dozen. I couldn't even take a picture of every Bluenoser, there were so many- sorry JP. Did get some nice aerial shots of Princess Elizabeth, though.

I just could not get a better shot when there were 20 (yes 20!) P-51s in the air together in a formation spelling out the number 51!!! Needed a video camera for that.

I also added a few shots from the NMUSAF in Dayton. Unfortunately, I was unprepared for how dark the museum is and did not have a good flash, so the photos are all fairly dark.

Best show I've ever attended, hands down. As Mustangdriver commented to me afterward, there was so much going on you didn't know where to point your camera. At one point I was in a tent meeting 2 dozen Tuskegeee Airmen and getting autographs while Bluenoser Mustangs were performing above- a nice dilemma.

The show was made all the better being able to meet a number of "legends" in person and a few MH2 brethren, to boot. Unfortunately, none of us could get ourselves organized to actually get a group photo. I think we have to organize a meeting of MH2 members next year at one of the California shows- maybe Chino.

Best airshow I've ever attended. You are right- way too much to see and do at all times. I hit the Mustang line-up first and toured the tents at the expense of the Red Baron and SNJ guys and Mike Goulian, all of which I'd seen before. A couple firsts for me- a Lancaster in the air, a P-38 in the air, F-22 demo (which was the most impressive I've ever seen), and all those Mustangs in the air at once. Walking in one of the first things I saw was a finger four formation of Mustangs low and fast over the display area. I knew it was going to be a special day. Wish I could have gone both days- it would've been the only way to take it all in. Twenty P-51s in the air was awesome- never forget that sound. One sounds pretty enough but 20 was incredible. Glad I got to go to this one.

Great pics guys and thanks for showing them to us glad you had a great time there I sure would love to have seen that B-17 in flight as well as the stangs and Jugs, awesome!

The Weather couldn't have been better. It seemed like a pretty well thought out show. I had the honor of getting to meet several of the MH guys, and hung out with Waltz and Old Crow for a good bit Fri and a little on Sat. I wish we had more time!
