| Alouette III Irish Air Corps standown On Friday Sept 21st after 43 years consistant and valiant service the Irish Air Corps stood down their remaining 6 Alouette III helicopters. It was a great day and a fine tribute to the crews who performed SAR missions and saved many lives. I've posted a few snaps taken on the day. If anyone wants to see a few more I can post them. I don't want to bore the ass off anyone. Also shown are the new helicopters; EC-135, and the larger EC-139. The PC-9s are also shown in a four plane formation. | |||||||||||||
