Chino Planes of Fame Airshow

Anyone planning to attend this show this weekend in Chino, California? I think I'm going to drive down for this.

Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://www.planesoffame.org/airshows.php

Re: Chino Planes of Fame Airshow

Me and my friend are going on Sunday. Was at it last year, it is a great show. Lots of fun stuff to see on the ground and in the air.

Re: Chino Planes of Fame Airshow

Yup, I'll be there Saturday. Looking forward to the 3 P-38's flying together, and hoping the P-40B will be going up too!

Oh man, too bad I can't go! Hope you guys have a great time. Them P-38's are worth it, as well as the P-40B!

Re: Chino Planes of Fame Airshow

Wow, what a show. 50th anniversary of the Planes of Fame museum and they sure know how to put on a show.

Everything scheduled to fly made it into the air, I think, except the Grumman Tigercat (though it did make a run down the runway). How about Steve Hinton doing barrel rolls in P-38 Glacier Girl!

Here are a few samples. Sorry about the quality but it was a bit hazy.

Great pics, Old Crow, thanks for sharing them. Kind of cool seeing the pic of the P 39. Never seen one myself.

A few more shots. Remember the debate about the size, uhh... length of the Dragon Wildcat spinner hub?
