Re: Chino Planes of Fame Airshow

Hey Old Crow, judging by your taxi shots I was just off to your right by a few hundred feet! What a fantastic show though, and I agree, Steve Hinton's aerobatics in the Glacier Girl P-38 was something to see. Too bad the Princess Elizabeth P-51C didn't fly, I had hopes.

Well I still have over 200 pics to process, but I have a handful done so here's a sampling:

Nice pics, no4mkit. What lens were you using? Looks like it is better than mine.

Re: Chino Planes of Fame Airshow

Thanks OC. It's the Canon 100-400L IS. It's pretty sweet but a body with some more MP would improve things.

I searched everywhere in the museum hangar area for the P-40B with no luck. I found one employee who thought it had flown up to Washington, but who knows. Would have been cool to see it before it goes back to the UK, even on static.

Great "sampling" of pics, No4! Loved the ones of the Hellcats taking off. Thanks
