I just received my new Air & Space Smithsonian. Apparently, this September in Columbus (Ohio) a gathering of P-51s is going to be held. The previous roundup had 65 or so Mustangs plus legendary pilots. The event in Columbus is supposed bigger -- bringing over 100 P-51s!! I am arranging my vacation schedule, this may the last time for this event.

I had plans to attend but since I met Chuck Yeager in January I cancelled. I know it will be a great show with all the planes and pilots attending.

I'll be there, perhaps for all four days! Would not miss it! Also, no hotel room needed, which is nice.

OK guys don't hate me for posting this. It comes straight from the source. When I met Chuck in January Victoria Yeager told me he might not attend the event.

He must be a real jerk! Not all Mustang pilots are like that you should really think it over again.

I think my dad or his friend as a hotel booked but idk if I'm going or not because I'll be in college but I'm gonna do everything to be there!
