Re: Sunstar??

They look sharp because it is the F-117!!
Looking closely, the landing gear and ordnance are not so finely moulded,
I have one and it was cheap, occasionally I still run across the light grey version, but can't find the one with a huge Skunkworks logo on the tailfin, which I would totally buy on the spot. The camouflaged one looks nice but I am so unfamiliar with non-black nighthawks!

Cool Skunkwrx F117

I've just received my (larger than expected) 1/72 scale F117 Nighthawk from The Flying Mule's sale and can highly recommend it . Overall quality and detailing is excellent with superb fit and finish . Only downside is that there is no stand or 'wheels up' option.

I don't believe that they're making these anymore so if you have a gap in your collection for a technological icon, you should perhaps consider buying it ... definitely worthwhile and you're unlikely to be disappointed .

Re: Sunstar??

I had the Sunstar Scorpion1 and it is basically the same as the 1/48 one from FM which I bought instead. Since I don't collect 1/72 I got rid of the Sunstar.

But the quality is very good - I can only recommend it.
What I have is the AH-64D in 1/48 scale from Sunstar. From my POV its the best diecast Apache apart from the expensive FM one.
And it's WAY cheaper!
If there is interest in pics, I can upload some once I am home...
