Anyone with photos of Hangars?

Does anyone know where I can get a good picture of a military hangar, preferrably empty? I want to make something like a cut out diorama background for a 1/72nd F-14 Vandy 1.

Here's one of a Chilean Air Force Hangar and the accompanying website with hangar schematics (probably your best bet):

Airplane Hangar Design, Aircraft Hangars Sales, Hanger Construction, Airport Terminal Buildings, Hangar Doors, Control Towers...

Chilean Air Force Hangars - Military hangar designed and made by REIDsteel. There are 2 storey workshops and stores on three sides. There is a nose extension at the back of the hangar. Also another hangar was built for the Chilean Navy

Good luck!

Re: Anyone with photos of Hangars?

Thanks, but does anyone have any pics of a more frontal view of a hangar and a higher res picture?

Andrew, those are hard to find on the net. Try opening the previously attached site that I posted. That site has plans for hangars and has some frontal hangar pictures.

Here's another manufacturer, scroll to the bottom of the page:

Re: Anyone with photos of Hangars?

Couple of the Hangars in the photos look similar to those at Barksdale AFB.
