Takara TMW A6M5 Zero 1/48

Although its not diecast, it sure is a great collector item. I have 2 of these, one of which i've assembled as an operational aircraft. The other, I will later assemble as a display piece. The item description can be found here:
TMW Zero Fighter 1 Box (10pcs)

Some can still be found on ebay and is quite a hit in Japan. I'd really recommend it. No painting is required and the detail is really exquisit. Here are some photos of my assembled model. But the exposed model is really an eye opener and will definitely look forward to displaying it like that. Like your own little musem model at home!

Thanks for posting these pics! Been curious about this one -- the detail looks amazing, the cockpit looks really good...

Re: Takara TMW A6M5 Zero 1/48

Unfortunately a hidden gem about assembling the whole thing as a plane is you don't see the details of the machine guns in the cockpit or even in the wings. Now those really blew me away. I'm waiting for a display box to set up the skeletal version and will take more pics of that. I really regretted not buying this from hlj.com when i had the chance and had to resort to ebay.

Definitely a bit of detail on that model!

Now, if HM can do one in that scale with the same level of detail...I'd be all over it!
