Is somebody going to do a high end Corsair?

Im waiting for somebody a to do a high end 1/48 or 1/32 model of the F4U Corsair.
Weather it be Eagles Int, GMP or Corgi I hope somebody jumps on it.
I love the Corsair & I want to see a better version than whats on the market right now..

Thumbs up Re: Is somebody going to do a high end Corsair?

That would be really cool in 1/32 scale by Corgi, The price would be reasonable and in that scale I bet they it would be really really nice.

From what I hear you will likely see one in the next twelve to eighteen months.

Yes, I would guess either GMP or Eagles are going to produce one. It would make common sense too.

Re: Is somebody going to do a high end Corsair?

Hi Guys, I hope someone would do a 190 first and then a A6M before an F4U even though if it were made I would definitely buy some.
Try pestering Candy at FOV as that is the only chance of getting this done IMHO. I know the thread said high end (which FOV is unquestionably not) but they might surprise. If you get really desperate 21st Century make a plastic 1/32.

Re: Is somebody going to do a high end Corsair?

There is a Tamiya (Plastic kit I know!) ready made, and pre-painted model of the Corsair in 1/48, very very detailed, very finely finished, but plastic...

I love the quality and looks of the model, and the price is not bad either, but I am sure most of you guys would stay away from it because of the plastic.
