Weapons loadout display for your a/c.

I've always obsessed at the idea of displaying one of my modern jets bristling with an array of armaments, missiles and bombs spreadout in front of it's nose ala the illustrations seen below. I've always wondered how many of you would entertain such a kinky notion, or am I the only one who thinks like a sick twisted freak of nature when it comes to this idea? Please do let me know if I'm gone off the rocker?

Re: Weapons loadout display for your a/c.

Fly,

I think that would be a great / impressive display of one of your diecast.

To me, it would just add another way of looking at the aircraft instead of the plain old wheels up on a stand or wheels down.

I might just take a look at one of my modern ones this week, and do it.

Thanks for the idea

I didn't intend to do that, but over the years I ended up with that. I just kept piling all my spare Dragon and Witty weapons in one corner of the shelf, by my F-18C. Now I have quite a pile!

Hey DH, why not display one of your jets with those weapons array? I think it'll look very spiffy!

You know me, I'm a stickler for accuracy. I'll see what I can do with what I have, making sure each weapon is "appropriate" for the model. Hornet's probably the best bet, widest range of weapons.

Yeah, "weapons array" accuracy is tantamount to giving the best accurate loadouts for a specific combat aircraft! So, you gonna paint those missiles 'grey' right?

Well, the little box off to the left says you is "offline".

I know you are a leetle bit off, but why does it say "offline"? Huh?
