...as I'm sure that tank nut is somehow involved in all this, I can respect that!

Question Re: Weapons loadout display for your a/c.

Where can you buy pilots and extra weapons for Dragon Wing 1/72 jets?

Do a "google image search" for Hasegawa and Fujumi weapons/pilots kits and you'll get lots of hits for such items.

Re: Weapons loadout display for your a/c.

FLYXWIRE:

Thanks. Two more questions:
1. Do you know if the Dragon Wings 1/72 weapon sets are still available? (I'm looking for pre-assembled, pre-painted weapons specifically for Dragon Wings 1/72 jets).
2. Does Dragon Wings also have 1/72 jet pilot sets?

Your best bet is eBay. I will be on the hunt for those weapons sets and if I find some I'll send you 'pm'.

2. Does Dragon Wings also have 1/72 jet pilot sets?

Yes, but not separately carded, well on my two F-16s the pilots were on plastic blisters.

My impression is that the Dragon Wings 1/72 weapons/pilot sets are discontinued and hard to find.

Yes, they are hard to find but I do go to toys and collectibles show every now and then, and I still stumble onto these sets on occasions.

Question Re: Weapons loadout display for your a/c.

FLYXWIRE:

I noticed you posted about the Dragon Wing F-15E Strike Eagle.
Would you post your overall review of it?

I did? Hmmmm, I must be losing it then...
Well, I do have the first issue Strike Eagle as advertised by Dragon at the time, but she ain't an 'E' variant - - more like a 'D'. Dragon really missed the boat on this one because where the CFT (Conformal Fuel Tanks) pods are concerned, it lacks the extra racks, pylons and munitions that would make it a True 'E' Hollywood model. I understand that you can actually upgrade and mod it yourself to the latest and greatest by purchasing after-market parts? I actually saw a decent rework of this diecast from one of the other diecast forums I visit, and it looked fantastic! Now, if Dragon could only re-release this diecast sporting an Israeli desert camo as the F-15I, I would be all over it in a heartbeat.

Mmmmm, I have a couple of these sets must give this a try.
Don't forget the weapons loads we get with CW, it could be done with those models as well.
