WWII 1/72 Scale Aircraft To Fill In The Gap

This is just a list of what I would like to see made - if you would like to vote. I confined my list to some WWII war planes that are missing or inadequately done. Please feel free to add your own list on this thread as well. I voted for the Black Widow but I REALLY want the Helldiver too - it's hard to choose since I want them all!

Re: WWII 1/72 Scale Aircraft To Fill In The Gap

NOW I see it, and voted for the Val. I'd prefer a 1:72 B 29, but likely would never afford it! (perhaps a nicely done plastic model, THAT I could afford).

If I could add another plane to the list it would be the F2A Buffalo. I would also change the P-38F Lightning choice to a P-38G - Rex Barber's "Miss Virginia" - Yamamoto Mission.

If you talk about gáps you should look towards an a/c and/or a/f other then US/UK/German/Japanese and to lesser extend Soviet or Italian.

So, the Dutch Fokker D21 it should be...

Can we try with real bullets now?

There are too many I wanted to select, but had to go with the P-61....I have to have this bad boy badly!

Re: WWII 1/72 Scale Aircraft To Fill In The Gap

There are a few on that list i would like to see made...But i really have to go the the P-61 Blackwidow first on
this one.
I have waited all year for it and then find out it's not going to happened was such a heartbreaker for me...So the P-61 is still at the top of my list.

Thumbs up Re: WWII 1/72 Scale Aircraft To Fill In The Gap

I've just got to stick with the Peashooter (P-36). It has one foot in the past, one foot inching into the future, and the whole aircraft drenched in the Romance of Aviation.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

P-61. If nothing else, we know they can't screw up the paint.
