Re: Would you like to see a F8F BEARCAT made

As said in another thread, I still want a Bearcat for my Blue Angels collection. Don't care if I have to modify and re-decal it.
Easy Model will do if we ever see theirs.

Oh yeah, bring it on. It'd be a good release in 1/72nd and 1/48th simultaneously.

Re: Would you like to see a F8F BEARCAT made

You know i did a check on this Bearcat and the French Bearcat saw combat service in the First Indochina War as fighter-bombers in the early 1950s.
We must of never got to use this baby in combat

Yeah, and some were passed on to the Vietnamese, who used them against the insurgents after the French left...

Re: Would you like to see a F8F BEARCAT made

Sure, but it's not in my top ten, where new diecasts are concerned. I prefer planes like the IL-2, Tony, MC-202, Mig-15, Oscar, LA5FN, etc. that saw lots of service, have many interesting schemes and have yet to be done properly---IXO's feeble efforts notwithstanding.

Re: Would you like to see a F8F BEARCAT made

Yes--and throw in a Tigercat too. I saw one race at Reno and it's a pretty bird.
