New King & Country Warbirds

King & Country has announced that they will be producing three new warbirds. Here is their announcement:

Just got some advance pictures of our next batch of "Warbirds" from the workshop. I thought you might like to see them.

For the record we've got 20 x Focke Wulf 190's in two different paint schemes, 20 x Hawker Typhoons also in two different paint schemes.
Delivery is schedule for just after mid June

Retail Price: US$695 each
FedEx Postage: additional

Also on order are 20 more Me110s in three different paint schemes (10 + 5 + 5) no photos available yet. Delivery scheduled for early July.
Retail Price: US$895
FedEx Postage: additional

Here are a couple of pictures of them. If you are familiar with their earlier warbirds note that these have a clear canopy and cockpit detail. I know these are to rich for most of our blood but if you are interested you should act quickly. I know a number of them were already spoken for. I am not sure of the exact ordering process but you can contact me and I will reserve one in your name.

Re: New King & Country Warbirds

Are these in 1/32 scale?

Although I can't afford them, they look pretty nice! Particularly that Typhoon.

Re: New King & Country Warbirds

These are in 1:30 scale. King & Country will be producing two different lines; the ultra limited wooden aircraft and the larger production run aircraft. I think the larger production planes will be polystone. We haven't heard a price on that line but I have heard estimates of a around $150 give or take a little. They also plan to release ground crew and associated figures.

One of the planes that they have announced that is in the works is Rommel's Fiesler Storch. Here is a diorama that King & Country set up with some of their earlier North Afrika pieces. I believe that the production has been delayed on the Storch. We haven't heard any updates in a while.

Thanks
Ronnie

Re: New King & Country Warbirds

Ah, good then. I would definitely be a player at the $150 price line, if the models look anything like the pictures of the limited ones.

I'm not too happy about yet another scale for airplanes, but well, at the point where I am, what's one more scale among friends... I guess it's close enough to 1/32.

Re: New King & Country Warbirds

That Storch diorama is nifty! I have a friend who just started collecting the K&C Napoleonics, and they are very high quality. I hope their aircraft are the same.

Hey there! That diorama with the Fieseler Storch really grabs me. I've always wanted a diecast of this aircraft to have in my collection. Please update us on this particular product. Thank you.

Re: New King & Country Warbirds

I received a couple of new pictures of the Limited Edition FW-190. Also in the picture there are some figures standing beside the aircraft. These are not included.

Once again the price on these is $695. They are limited to 20 pieces. It looks like they have already sold a number of them so if you are interested you should act quickly.

Thanks
Ronnie
