Now that is the first time i have seen a color Picture of that kind of Corsair.

Wouldn't be my cup of tea as it is not a WW II livery.....but....very nice camo! Thanks for sharing it.

Pretty camo but not my cup of tea as well.

As a side note, one of the "legends" of this war that I've heard is that DC-3's were converted into bombers. Anyone know if there is any truth to this? Any idea what the load out was? Thanks

That's a cool and different livery for a Corsair, but I'd rather have Fernando Soto's F4U-5NL (minus the radar) that he used to shoot one of those down. Of course the Honduran AF kept their Corsairs glossy sea blue (and even repainted a B-26 they acquired in the same color). Most of the Honduran F4U's ended up back on the warbird circuit after being purchased by an American enthusiast in the late 1970s.

Man is that ugly, fine if hunting deer/elk I guess. But that is fugly looking.
