Jim,
Enough P-40's for the moment? Are you mad! Mad, I say, MAD!!!!!!!! Of course we don't have enough P-40s!!!!!

Of course, you are correct in that we could REALLY use a nice P-40N mould. (Yes, I have the IXO bird and it's a nice enough plane, but I'd really like someone else step up to the plate.) There are some great liveries to go along with this bird and the Russian examples are way overlooked.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: What good Flying Tiger P-40 liveries have yet to be made

Well considering they (AVG) were "sorta" (used loosely) the Blackwater of thier day, who cares how they feel about Boyington? You cannot please everyone all the time, right FVD? The fact that he would later become the pilot we all know him as speaks well enough for me. The CMH doesn't hurt either.
If he had issues with the Tigers so be it, it doesn't take away the fact he did fly with them. He has every right that anyone else who flew for China to get more than one P-40 made in his markings.
P*ss on those whos feelings get hurt, I hate selective membership. The military good ole' boy club, does more harm than good in every case. One could also say the AVG were all a bunch of cowboys looking for a fast buck. And I don't care who ok'd their release from the contract they had with the US military. If they were so professional why did they p*ss and moan when the USAAC what to take them into the fold?
A Boyington P-40 in 1/72nd scale is long over due!!!

Very nicely put sir, let us hope that those in power listen to us.

Sorry my friend I meant to say could we have some different ones please, well it is late (1.19am and I am beginning to hallucinate).
