King & Country Rammjager

King & Country has released a picture of their new Rammjager. We still don't know a whole lot about this particular aircraft. A price for this item has not been released yet. We are expecting a price and a release date anytime now.

Here is a picture of the Rammjager (Item WS100) and the Sd.Kfz 252 Transporter (Item WS101)

Thanks
Ronnie

Re: King & Country Rammjager

I don't think that rocket powered aircraft was ever built

I can't see how it would fly anyway, there does not seem to be a means of propulsion

Re: King & Country Rammjager

It is scheduled for release in mid to late June as I understand, with trailer and transporter. When there are photos out they will be posted on the Treefrog K&C fourn.

This one is even better - http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/for...ead.php?t=3195 then scroll down.

I wondered about that myself, though I do see what could be an opening under the rear that might be for propulsion.

Re: King & Country Rammjager

That is too bad that:

1. It is not in 1/72.
2. It is not in any "standard" scale.

It sure looks neat, though!

Re: King & Country Rammjager

I heard on another forum that the aircraft was actually built and put in production but Hitler wouldn't allow it to be used. I really can't vouch for that myself.

The Rammjaeger does have a jet engine. As several people said the jet exhast is at the rear of the plane.

King & Country is planning to restart their Warbird series. This is one of the first of their new releases. They are planning to release ground crew and accessories to go with the aircraft as well so their will be plenty of material for dioramas.

I will be posting the new Warbirds as they become available. We currently carry the full K&C line and will be offering the Warbirds as well. They should be announcing the price for the new Rammjaeger later this week.

Thanks
Ronnie

You're referring to the Fi 103 piloted variant of the V-1 which featured the standard pulse-jet. Yes, a number were built, none were ever used, though it killed a few test pilots, because it was largely unflyable. The model depicted is not the Fi 103, but a turbojet "paper" variant that did not exist in reality. Might be a nice model if you're into Nazi fantasies, but that's about it.
