Which particular aircraft dominates your collection?

(If the particular aircraft is not one of the choices, please reply and post which aircraft dominates your collection. Poll options are limited to 10 choices. Thanks.)

Re: AIRCRAFT: Profiles in diecast - Poll 4

I limit myself to one of each type of aircraft. The only one I have two of is the Corsair.

I love P-40s. Corsairs are a close second followed by P-51 Mustangs.

If it isn't the P-40, it's only because not enough have come out yet.

I now have two full squadrons of P-51s; one squadron of P-40s and Spitfires.

I will have a complete fighter group of Mustangs (75) when Gemini makes all those from squadrons and groups that need representation. I thank Easy Model for a few of my favorite markings!

aeroeng, that is outstanding self-discipline! I wish I could do that (only one model per type), but I'm afraid it's hopeless.

Nevertheless, if forced to chose between adding a new type to my collection versus a new livery on a type I already own, I'll take the new type (and I'll get far more excited about it). My collection is therefore pretty diversified.

Re: AIRCRAFT: Profiles in diecast - Poll 4

Well, seeing as this list seems to be focused on military types, I'd have to say the Spitfire (with 10). But I have three times as many Boeing 707s (1/144 and 1/400 scale), almost as many Boeing 747s (1/400 scale), and twice as many Lockheed L-188s (1/400 scale), not to mention the many other civilian types.

Seven 'stangs, and runner-up is the Fokker Dr. I, of which I have six (two of those being hand made in wood!)
