1:72 Helldiver Poll

If a quality manufacturer (Hobbymaster; corgi; Gemini; etc.) made a 1:72 diecast Helldiver...

Admin -

Could you edit #4 option to read

"I would buy more than 2 different paint schemes."

Thanks.

Re: 1:72 Helldiver Poll

It would not be top of my list but yes I would buy at least one.
I view it as an important aircraft although its not the most beautiful of planes.

I voted depends, I'd only want US birds. Not sure how many liveries there are for the US Navy / Marines during WW2.

Alibi Fire:
I would buy one or more of the US Navy / Marines (if they used them) should HM produce the big tailed beast.

Re: 1:72 Helldiver Poll

I would buy at least one just to have a model of the plane. If the schemes were good, I'd likely buy more. I now have two TBF/TBM's and had no intention of even getting one - I just got sucked in!

Jim,

This is not about beauty, it's about collecting.

Isn't it ?!?

Re: 1:72 Helldiver Poll

So long as the liveries are of the three-toned variety, I'd but several Helldivers.

It looks a stunner alright! If the weathering could look like that, who wouldn't want it!

Re: 1:72 Helldiver Poll

Not an aircraft that got a lot of love or respect but significant and I'd want several for my US Navy collection.
