BBi F6F Hellcat 1:18 is sweet.

Wow.....Is the best word to use for this new release BBi F6F Hellcat 1:18 scale...Everything on this Hellcat fits perfect
and tight no loose ends on this one at all...BBi has done their homework since the Corsair. The weather job is a real plus on this one as well.
If you collect 1:18 got to have this Hellcat in your collection.I really like the detail work in the cockpit on this Hellcat.
Plus these wings fold very nice.... A little better then the TBF that 21st has....Not sure if the Hellcat wing fold is at the correct angle..

Here are some of the other 1:18 WWII fighters i have in the game room.

Great pics there JP!! That Hellcat looks better than I thought it would and with all those allied planes in the sky, you need some adversaries to shoot at..

Yeah, that Hellcat looks like it might claim the title of best 1/18 scale model to date. I'm going to have to get one, I'm afraid (but where to put it?).

The upcoming 21st Century Me-262 seems to look good as well...

That Hellcat is fabulous. I'll have to find some ceiling beams to hang one from.

Re: BBi F6F Hellcat 1:18 is sweet.

Right now i'm adding a little soot for my Hellcat with the Tamiya weathering master kit i just got.
Once it's done i will post pictures...I may also go to Bad Cats and get a set or two of the Japanese kill flags
because this one only had the markings on the right side...Unless that is the way it's supposed to be...If i
remember the diecast had marking on both sides..
Now i'll just wait for that BBi repaint 1:18 Zero to go with this Hellcat.

Re: BBi F6F Hellcat 1:18 is sweet.

I just picked up some extra Vex decals for this Hellcat from BadCats..
It has the kills for both sides and Vraciu's name for the plane.
Now i can put the kill flags on left side.

The new 1/18 Cat Mouth VF-27 Hellcat is what I've benn waiting for. Funny how they get that its a popular livery and HM didn't. I really wish HM had done it and not Corgi in 1/72nd.
