I have seen these, and they are really nice, but they are also plastic, if that isn't a problem..

I like the Gentile P-51D that he used on the warbond tour.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I have no issues with plastic made models as I've a number of the 21st Century Xtreme Details and Easy Models in my collection. However, I wonder what a SRP of $55 model is like when you finally get to see these spiffy looking models by Merit-Intl. in the flesh? The price tag for these models could ultimately be the deal-breaker....at least for me!

I know The Mule and Badcat both sell these, if you want to check prices.. I was thinking about getting the Hartmann 109, just because it is a scheme I haven't had yet..

Re: Merit-Intl 1/24 scale ready made models!

I got my father the P-51D Gentile Mustang warbond tour plane and he loved it.
They look really nice...problem is i have to start a whole new scale collection if i want to get more of them because their in 1/24.
I'll be getting the Hartmann when it comes out as well and maybe a Mustang to go with it for a dog fight look hanging up in the den...

I think the Mustangs look pretty nice, although the panel line shading seems a bit overly artistic..
