Re: D-Day invasion stripes

Note I said "planes" in b&w stripes ;-)

Nuthin says "class" quite like sumthin' in black and white stripes....

Re: D-Day invasion stripes

At first I thought you were referring to that Corgi Mustang in the B&W stripes!

Thumbs up Re: D-Day invasion stripes

Hi Min, and welcome along. have to say I quite like the planes with stripes too, and have a few in my collection. Here's a pic: -

Awesome collection Spinnaker! Thanks for sharing the pic, the B-25 and Mosquito are looking increasingly tempting. Now I have some idea of how I might want to grow my own collection.

Sorry, but Skunky made me do it.

Here you go Min for an affordable one.......IXO's Beaufighter. Not a bad model, can be found for good prices and it looks like it's going to be a loooooooooooong time before anyone else makes one!

Re: D-Day invasion stripes

Welcome Min- glad to have you join us.

SKUNKY! PLANENUTS! You two cut that out or I'll send you to the principal's office! Jeesh! It's like a zoo here sometimes.

Min don't forget the Corgi Warbirds P-51. The markings are not totally accurate but it's inexpensive, it can be customized (if you're into that), and it's readily available. Also Witty has some pretty good invasion striped Mustangs.

Doing what you want is freedom; doing what you like is happiness.
