Passed by the same store this morning and got the 2nd 1/72 AeroArt cheap because they didn't know the price. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Who makes the best 1/72 P51 Mustang? Dragon makes the truest P-51D as far as accuracy goes. Even the blue Mustang is an accurate representation of a real, flying Mustang. Gemini Aces is next for the P-51B. Witty's planes look good, but I'm not sold on the "sparklely" silver paint. Corgi's Mustangs look "funny". Something about the nose isn't right. | |||||||||||||

|  Re: Who makes the best 1/72 P51 Mustang? I hear you HotTrap. Dragon is no. 1, no doubt. I also agree with an earlier post that the Corgis' display well. Most of my Mustangs are Corgis' and I still like and enjoy them even though they may not be the best. You live and learn. Like some I used to exclusively collect Corgi. That, of course has changed! Now my wallet is being punished for my lack of insight! | |||||||||||||

| Re: Who makes the best 1/72 P51 Mustang? Don't be too hard on yourself ZS. I've got 5 Corgi Mustangs and they don't look awful. It's just that there are some better looking models available. If I put a Corgi Mustang next to a Dragon Mustang, I can see a difference. But my wife and my other "non" aviation visitors can't. And besides, Corgi does offer some striking color schemes. So enjoy them! | |||||||||||||

You bet I will mate! As I said though, you live and learn. That's why I'm securing a few more P51s including the AeroArt yesterday. I've also put in orders for the new GA's and the odd Dragon I can lay my hands on. | ||||||||||||||
