Re: Other scales

Hi Captain Eddie, got me three acres and a busted lawn tractor. Had to mow the lawn with a push mower which takes about 4Hrs. Just waiting for my bonus to come in so I can buy me a nice John Deere.

Re: Other scales

I know a guy who managed to purchase a camel sopworth from an old flyier, its not air worthy and needs some TLC and he put it on his front lawn, his wife hit the roof when she returned from work, lol, but its still there along with some other odds an ends, im hoping to pass his home tomorrow, so if i remember i'll take a pic or two and post them for all too see.

Re: Other scales

I was reading an ad from some guys in the UK who make life size copies of Spitfires for movies and display. They weren't too expensive (depending on how deep your pockets are of course) and I can't help from thinking what a head turner that would be in the front garden.

Would you happen to know the name of the company?

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Other scales

There was a pilot that i knew a few years ago that had a lifesize cutout of a P-51D Mustang in his shop along the side of the wall.
It looked really cool...I wanted one of them in my gameroom but my wife stopped me on that one
But at least she lets the boys and i put up the 1/18 fighters hanging from the ceiling.
