ME 262, "White 8" UPDATED with Pics

ME 262
“White 8”

Admiral Toys Incorporated is proud to give you a look at our brand new ME 262. Painted in the markings of Walter Novotny’s “White 8” this aircraft is striking.

The model has two sets of working flaps, two sets of leading edge slats, moving control surfaces, highly detailed guns, landing gear that retract and a canopy that opens. The aerial antenna will accompany the final production model.

The model you are looking at in the below photos is that of a final production sample. This means all the research and development has moved aside and final production is well underway. It will be finished with production in the next couple of weeks and you should see this model in your favorite retail store soon.

We are very proud of this model and know you will not be disappointed in its design or function. This is truly a piece that will give you a true since for the extreme engineering that German designers put into the model.

Again, for more information or photos on the ME 262 please visit our website AdmiralToys.com

Hope you enjoy the photos.
Regards,
Jason

They do look good. Any one know what the wingspan is on the 1/18th scale bird?

Re: ME 262, "White 8"

Quoted from the SSHQ by Jason (Admiral Toys) about the Me-262 status:

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that the ME 262s are in our warehouse and will go out this afternoon. We have three UPS trailers being loaded as I type this. If you purchased from one of the retailers that asked us to drop ship for them, you should receive your model early next week. Unfortunately, UPS is not picking up or delivering on Friday. And for those of you whose retailer did not use our drop shipping option, you should soon receive your model. It first has to make its way to your retailer.

The bad news is that we are sold out! We had to prorate all retailers’ orders. I have spoken with many of our retailers today and explained the situation. Demand is just too high for this model. We have another shipment arriving. However, it will be several weeks before they are ready for delivery to our retailers and you.

If you have wanted this model and you see a retailer advertising next week that they still have models in stock, buy it! They will be out of stock very soon. Most of the retailers I spoke with today said they will have very few left after pre-orders are filled, and most will be sold out after pre-orders are filled.

That being said, I would encourage you to get back on the pre-order lists for the next shipment. We are already pretty deep with sales into that shipment as well.

Hope you enjoy the ME 262.
Regards,
Jason
