Introduction of 1:18 Scale

New to this site but not new to the industry is Admiral Toys Incorporated’s 1:18 scale line of aircraft. I know the members of this site are primarily concerned with the smaller scales; however, I thought it would be nice to post information about our larger scale aircraft.

Display space is always a concern with the larger scales. However, the detail and articulation of the larger scales is quite nice. All of our aircraft have an abundant amount of moving control surfaces, landing gear and canopies. Depending on the model, we try to put all the working functions of the aircraft into each one of our representations.

We currently have available a line of Sabre F-86Es and CL-13s in stock. We are finishing production on our ME 262 and there are two more aircraft in the works for the first part of next year.

I will post a thread about each aircraft and update the thread as to availability and status of production.

Hope you enjoy the posts. I know 1:18 may not be your cup-of-tea but they sure are fun to look at.

Regards,
Jason

Re: Introduction of 1:18 Scale

Thanks for posting Jason.. I know there are a few of us on here that also frequent the Small Scale forum and collect 1/18-1/32 planes, so any updates and input is very appreciated..

Jason,

I think your next project should be a 1/18th F4F Wildcat.

Just a thought mind you.

Re: Introduction of 1:18 Scale

I'd love to see a 1/18th scale MiG-29. Actually, I'd rather see a 1/18th Su-27 but that would be 4 ft long with a wingspan of almost 3 ft. The MiG-29 would be a more managable size.
