M-10 and Crusader

How long before we see the Crusader and M-10 tank destroyer? They appear to be due after the skirted Panzer III.
Thanks,
Eric

Re: M-10 and Crusader

I am looking forward to more Admiral armor like these. Any pre-production photos to really get the juices flowing? Please? I am also looking forward to the Walker Bulldog. A version of an early Stuart/Honey tank would make my day. It's great to have a company rep actually participate on this forum and listen to the members. Thanks!

Corgi just released a 1:72 diecast Stuart tank, though I'm sure Admiral would do a nicer version. I'd like to see something with a Normandy hedgerow cutting device.

Did they? Is that the one that is packaged in the black "carousel" hanger display box? Rather simple and about $10?

Question Re: M-10 and Crusader

Legio,
Are you sure Corgi is producing a 1:72 Stuart light tank? They have produced the Stuart in several paint schemes in the smaller scale Showcase collection, but I have not seen any in the regular Corgi lineup. I know the Stuarts were not a main battle tank, but I have always thought they were cool ever since I read DC's G.I. Combat comicbooks as a kid.
Again, I would love to see a nicely done Stuart, preferably an M3A1, but an M-5 would be OK. As per this thread I think Admiral is doing a great job on their armor and look forward to their M-10 and Crusader versions.

Re: M-10 and Crusader

"Regular" Corgi lineup is 1:50. Smaller "Showcase" collection is various scales, and some are 1:72 - M3 halftrack, M8 Greyhound, and Stuart.

Yes, they have a few versions (paint schemes) of it. Two were released last month and I think there are another couple that are supposed to be released either this month or next month. I think the suggested retail on them is around $7-$8. Nothing amazing in terms of detail, but still an interesting release.

According to DD, the Showcase line has been dis-continued & all the future releases have been canceled (replaced by Warbirds in planes). I guess the armor offerings don't have a corresponding Warbirds series. So the few that were done are it!

Fortunately then that these are not the Showcase line but in the "Fighting Machines Collection" and can be seen on the Corgi US website. These 1:72 Stuart tanks were just released within the last couple weeks and in large numbers as I've found them at all sorts of online shops as well as Ebay when doing a search (probably Walmart too). According to the Corgi US website, there's another Stuart to be released 9/30/2006.

Thanks for the info. I'd only known about the Showcase. Will check it out.
