| Re: Release Regarding New Form of Production Looking forward to buying the new models. I think that you can do plenty of schemes for the 88 or pak - winter white, panzer gray, panzer gray w/tan spray, Afrika tan, normandy 3 tone, Kursk sand w/green spray, Italy sand w/brown spray, not to mention kill ring etc variants. The list goes one. Need I even tell you you merely have to look at what Dragon has done with the Tiger? Now allied pieces....that's another story! Looking forward to many more Pz. IIIs. Don't forget the short 7.5cm gun with and without schurzen. There's as many schemses for that as there are for the paks! Hope you were able to drum up more business at Toyfair. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Release Regarding New Form of Production One more question, do you have any further word on 1:72 figures, either separately or as crew members for the guns? I'd really like to see some. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Release Regarding New Form of Production I feel the same as many of you - make em out of whatever you want, just keep up the quality, variety, etc! It is nice to have a manufacturer that not only keeps in touch with us, but is up front about what is going on...thanks again. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Release Regarding New Form of Production Dear Jason, Thank you very much for addressing all the questions which came up on the forum with regard to Admiral's future intentions. As you have let the cats out of their respective bags, let me say that it appears that the vast majority of AFV collectors appreciate the fact that you are creating energy enough to compete with Dragon and FOV lines. Also, that you are tackling production according to the variables which will see your products meet a sympathetic market. This is refreshing for all of us who have been in for the long hike ever since Airfix produced its first Vb ( I was there!.....at Woolworth's counter when they came in ) I have been a huge fan of 1.72 armour ever since I built my first Airfix Panther ( circa 1960 ) and plastic, resin, metal, built, construction kit, etc., never phased me when it came to acquiring a quality product. Therefore, if your company plans to produce a range of material which is more diverse and of quality equal to, or better than, the competition, then bloody good luck to you. I'll be lining up with the others to get my share. Best wishes and good luck, MoMo | |||||||||||||

| Jason, I agree with the others - I want a quality product with a quality paint scheme. It is great to get some different armor types - not just 32 different paint schemes on the same tiger tank mold. Metal is nice, but not absolutely needed if quality is there. I wish other manufacturers would participate on this forum so we could understand their thinking and they could understand ours. Keep up the great job. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Release Regarding New Form of Production Thanks for the detailed post and explanation of the prod process Jason, very interesting! For me, it's detail and quality first, limited run second, then metal content. I do like metal in my models. However, I would much rather have an incredible plastic tank with a high collectibility factor, than a ho-hum metal tank with no collecting value. | |||||||||||||
