| Re: Admiral 1/72 diecast models I say the more artillery the better! A subject that's always neglected even by the model kit makers. I'm supprised the most famous artillery piece in WWII hasn't been made yet in 1/72.....the 88. I love that 105 howitzer. I'll be getting at least a couple. Maybe I'll make an artillery battery I'm anxious to see what's next ![]() | ||||||||||||||

Yes, Admiral should be doing a Pak 40 and I believe crews for the guns as well. I would love an 88mm in both the firing position as well as with the limber ready to be towed. I'm really looking forward to a German 88mm flak gun.

You can get most artillery including a German 88mm in 1/72 plastic kit form from various companies, but in diecast and prepainted/prebuilt is what will really set these apart. I'm with you on the battery of artillery, I'd probably get at least 3 of each (German and American) and set them all up together.

| Re: Admiral 1/72 diecast models
When I was building kits it was in 1/35. There were some artillery but not much. The old 88 kit by Tamiya and a pak 40, and an old 105 by Italeri comes to mind. Anything else and you'd have to get resin kits that are grossly expensive. But maybe things have gotten better since I was building....I've been away from the kits for some time now.

| Re: Admiral 1/72 diecast models
Yes, you can get excellent 1:72 guns in resin for $10-$20 depending on what they are (plastic too), but lots of fiddly pieces and you still have to build and paint them. There are also alot of wargaming guns you can get in 1:72 but they lack what some of the model kits have in detail and crispness. A diecast prebuilt and prepainted range of guns is a great idea because they're ready to go straight from the package.

| Re: Admiral 1/72 diecast models
Dragon have come out with some truly exceptional Flak 36/37 ('88') kits in 1/35 scale. I have one but have not yet had the courage to start assembling it (it even has a steel barrel .)I definitely intend to get one in 1/72 die-cast the moment they're available

| Re: Admiral 1/72 diecast models If Admiral people are interested I could supply color plates and blueprints of Su-85, Su-85M, and Su-100 as well as the most unique Panzer III, the Soviet-built SU-76i destroyer on captured Panzer III chassis, including one in re-captured German livery. All info in Russian, though. Regards, Sergey | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Admiral 1/72 diecast models The 105mm looks great. How about adding an undercarriage to it and make the M-7 Priest? | ||||||||||||||
