When are they going to start showing up?

Read about the Russian tank, the U.S. tank destroyer, the III M and all of the artillery pieces. Now, when can we expect to see any of them for sale?

Re: When are they going to start showing up?

I don't know the exact release date but remember Jason from Admiral Toys said it would be towards the first half of 2007. Hopefully ASAP for that German 88.

Boy am I glad I'm not the only one wanting to know. I guess things should get a lot clearer after the big toy fair.

Re: When are they going to start showing up?

Diecast Direct has just posted these for pre-order, but at $45 a pop! Is that right?

If this is Admiral's new pricing regime, I've just been priced out of the market. Hopefully, it's an error by DD.

Re: When are they going to start showing up?

Holy moly! If this is true, I'm out. That's practically the same price as their 1:18 planes! I'll just wait for MRC or Dragon or FOV to step up. I see the Pz III M is clocking in at $17, which means that the $44 tag is probably more accurate than we want to believe.

Re: When are they going to start showing up?

I'm with you guys, I think I will probably pass too for that sort of price on something that will be all plastic as they announced last month.

I was prepared to pay high price for this pieces (about $30USD for Japanese tank and $25USD for 88), but not that high. Dragon will undoubtedly release Su-85 and Su-100 since they are planning to release kits of them in the near future, and 88mm is way too iconic piece of artillery to be ignored for so long.

If this is a harbinger of things to come from Admiral, they'll better stick with 1:43 car models, where the market is more than willing to pay $45 - $50USD per model of mass produced diecast or resin vehicle.

Regards,

Sergey

Re: When are they going to start showing up?

Let's hope Admiral don't price themselves out of the market as their range appears to have a lot of potential ...

Re: When are they going to start showing up?

Wow, I'm going to have to pass too, I do hope that is a typo, but I simply can't afford those prices!
