Thanks to all who helped give some colour info regarding my Dark Ghost Grey problem. In the end, I managed to find a store that sold it. was only 1.5hrs drive away
But I did use the XF-19 to hand paint some of the thin frames of the canopy. Didn't do it for the whole canopy because the shade was just way too different to the rest of the fuselage with Tamiya's Dark Ghost Grey.
Anyway, I'll just share these photos of the finished product. Its the Hasegawa 1:72nd F-18F Super Hornet done in the markings of VFA-2 and its Low Vis. I've added a couple of Dragon weapons( An AGM-88 and a Sparrow underneath the Fuselage) and used a spare HM stand from a Ju-87. I've done some modifications to it. I've made it with flaps down and arrestor hook down. I also painted up a slab of wood to be that of a carrier landing deck, though still need to add atleast 1 arresting wire to it later. Other than that, the kit itself is just out of the box. no other extras. Anyway, here are the pics:
