If it's a Navy jet with a white belly---the h.stabs should be white all over. A-5, A-6, A-7, F-4, F-8, F-14, S-3, etc.
Officially. H.stabs were the very first thing to be repainted grey when going to the original low-vis scheme, so who knows. I'll re-watch The Final Countdown and see if I can spot some of VA-85's planes and see if they're in transition like VF-84 was. |
