| New collector with basic questions for starting this hobby I'm hoping someone can help answer some questions I have for starting a collection.
I know nothing about Corgi and their different scales of aircraft and ground vehicles, but I already have a few corgi jets from when I was growing up. They are all different sizes. I am wondering how to determine the scale of the model by looking at them because I didn't keep the boxes, and there are no military models in my local stores.
Could someone also fill me in on the different collections and scales Corgi makes for military planes and ground vehicles? I want to start a collection with both ground and airplanes and would like to try and keep them all the same scale, or at least have all my planes the same scales and the vehicles the same size with other ground pounders. Which scales have the most variety of different models, and what are the pros and cons to collecting a certain scale; other than space for storing/displaying. I.E the smallest Corgi model I have is a f14 tomcat, which doesn't have any ordinence, or much detailing on the bottom. I want to get a nice balance of size and detailing with a ton of different models in the same scale.
Thanks for all your help. |
