Love the show. Believe it or not, there was a former VMF -214 pilot that lived at the end of my street. He said that certain things on the show were not right (obviously), but a lot were. He said that Conrad played Boyington to a tee. He was a very nice guy, but he liked to drink, gamble, and wrestle. That is where I got the autographed photo from Boyington. This Gentleman had it in his collection. He got it in person, so I am going to assume it is real. |
