I overlook the yacht basin in Hamilton Harbour... it's nice to watch sailboats.
Also have advantage of being on flightpath to Hamilton Airport so I usually see the CWH aircraft flying. Not unusual to see Lancaster, B-25 and other museum goodies as they depart and return from flying duties.
CAF Hercules was in the other day and CAF Cormorants are regular visitors.
Of course also being near major hospital we see flying ambulance quite often.
HMCS Haida, now a museum, is just down the street as well as Navy and Army Reserve base. Visiting naval vessels dock within sight as well. |
