I emailed them and asked whether they have released their fixed version of M1A2.
If you look carefully at their official website,

their posted picture of M1A2 does come with painted black rubber tyres but if you look throughly only the outer road wheels(and one on turret roof) have their tyres painted black while the inner road wheels still haven't been painted black

Take a look at their website picture of M1A2. This is especially noticeable from the picture for the 2nd wheel from the front. Maybe that is their fixed version? Then I would rather have all of them not painted black.
But overall I'm quite happy with Minichamps model though the wheels let me down a bit. I was expecting quality finish on this premium model. Many people have been claiming that Minichamps is for serious collectors but the finish on M1A2 road wheels gives me an impression that Minichamps is one lazy company
. Doh perhaps I should stick to model kit alone.
