The Oilers looked very strong tonight. I thought they would suffer after all those free agents left after the Cup run, but they were looking really good. The Sykora/Hemsky/Torres line will be a menace!
Calgary looked alright but the chemistry doesn't look as if it has set yet. Same problem they had last year with not driving hard enough to the net. I'm sure it will come together for them sooner or later.
Can't remember the last time I was this jazzed about a new season. Almost enough to make me change channels during the ball game... |
