Apparently Customs said that they try and intercept this sort of stuff at the boarder (ie ports), but here's the catch there are apparently only 15 inspectors for the entire US. Doesn't take a genius to discover that you can ship any old crap and it will be almost guaranteed to get though. |
If they let a disease-ridden attorney who is carrying tuberculosis into the country, even though his name was on a list to detain, do you think they will look twice at the paint on some children's toys? God help us all if we have to rely on the government to fugure it out.
