Fixin'-up a Legends tank

Back on MH1, Parsig had posted a few pics of his efforts to spruce up the cheapo Legends series Tiger tank that could be purchased at TM. He did a great job and inspired me to try my luck. Of course, MH1 morphed into its current incarnation before I was able to post my effort at improving this "toy".

So today I PM'd Parsig and let him know I gave it a try and asked if he had tried to do anything similar to that green brick known as the Churchill tank. He hadn't, but asked to see pics of the Tiger I did. Here they are and I apologize if you need to use eye bleach after viewing them.

I do not have any great modeling skills (which should be apparent), but I think with what little I did I got a much better looking model out of the deal for the lofty price of $9.99! The duochrome color scheme of the original model is a real turn-off, but with a little effort so much can be gained.

To the original I added a black wash for some detailing around hatches, doors, etc. I also painted the exhaust with flat black and added rust. The cables were painted black with "scrapes" of steel and rust. Guns and tools were also painted to reflect some use.

We need some suggestions on how to improve the Legends Churchill Mk. VII!
