The World War 1 aircraft you described were made by a company called Renwal. I remember them because in my earlier days I worked at Hobby shop in Washington DC. They made the lozenge pattern for the Fokker biplanes and numerous other aircraft. Since they are now rare kits, I would check with the IPMS to see if they can find a collector who may be willing to part with them.
