I love Spitfire ace. Really well done and Pete Brothers flys at the end. Wonderful show! The BFB series is very interesting b/c it is filmed on site and takes geography in to account. If I'm not mistaken: Hastings, The Boyne, Naseby, The Armada, etc...are filmed on location (no The Armada is not filmed at the bottom of the Channel) which gives them an interesting twist. In that way they seem like Schama's History of Britain docs. But, the BOB episode has to be done without this and though I liked the father/son team and their shows, this one is just another B- documentary. |
