I was in a Franklin Mint retail store in a local mall, circa 1998, and I was floored by the CDC Hellcat, all dark blue. My wife said "no..." I should have paid the $90 odd bucks.

I'd never seen or heard of diecasts before. I thought, "This is the future". I was blown away.

I'm still looking for a similar Hellcat, wife approval no longer required...
