2) Anyone have that situation...then after obsessing over the model, paid WAY over list to eventually acquire it? If so, what model(s) and how high did you go?
$45 for a Mcknight Hurri & $110 or so for a Tuck Spit... d'oh, d'oh! And $140 for a GMP texas longhorn... triple d'oh! Oh, and $150 for a SB lib... the list goes on I'm sure.
Or this situation...
3) Never got around to picking up that model - model then became scare - you thought you would NEVER find it - only to later pick it up for a screaming deal? If so, what model(s)?
$14 for a NGNG P-47... $150 for the BBMF set... $55 for Gmp Cripes A Mighty.... And I'll add a category: Deals you passed up and now kick yourself for -- mine would be stacks of MB B-17s at the first TM sale for $30 each (I already had one and left 'em.... now they are going for $180 on ebay... d'oh!) |
